Hubungan Tingkat Pengetahuan Seks Bebas dengan Perilaku Sekual Berisiko pada Remajadi Era Gen Z

Abstract

Adolescence is a phase characterized by vulnerability to environmental influences and information, including matters regarding sexuality. In the Gen Z era—heavily influenced by technological advancements and social media—information about sexuality has become more accessible yet often lacks proper filtering. A lack of accurate knowledge regarding casual sex can lead adolescents to engage in risky sexual behaviors, potentially resulting in unintended pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS, and psychosocial issues. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge regarding casual sex and risky sexual behavior among Gen Z adolescents, specifically students at SMK. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional study design was employed. Purposive sampling was used to select 53 respondents, and the data were analyzed using the Gamma statistical test. The Gamma test results yielded a p-value of 0.020 (p < 0.05). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge regarding casual sex and risky sexual behavior among adolescents.
