Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional phase from childhood to adulthood, characterized by biological, psychological, and socio-cultural changes. The increasing number of reproductive health issues among adolescents poses a significant threat to their future well-being. This community service activity aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge and awareness regarding reproductive health and stress management. The program was implemented in Kedokangabus Village, Gabus Wetan Sub-district, Indramayu Regency, targeting both school-attending and out-of-school adolescents, with a total of 25 participants. The method consisted of three stages: situation analysis, health education, and evaluation. Initial knowledge assessment was conducted using a pretest questionnaire, followed by health education sessions on reproductive health. A posttest was then administered to measure knowledge improvement. The results showed a significant increase in the participants’ knowledge scores, from an average of 5.8 in the pretest to 8.7 in the posttest. This indicates that the educational intervention effectively enhanced adolescents’ understanding of reproductive health and stress management. In conclusion, structured and targeted health education programs can serve as a valuable approach in promoting reproductive health awareness among adolescents in rural communities.
